It depends on catalog size, the number of stores and warehouses, integrations with ERP, POS and marketplaces, and whether you need a mobile app. A store on an off-the-shelf platform and a custom omnichannel system are very different scopes. We give a fixed estimate per stage after a short brief.
Shopify is great for a fast start and a standard catalog. Once you run many locations, custom pricing logic, a loyalty program and complex ERP sync, a custom build on Laravel or Next.js is often more flexible and cheaper to maintain over time. We can also extend Shopify with custom apps when a full rebuild isn't justified.
The store pulls stock from your ERP or warehouse system via API and keeps availability per location. Shoppers see where an item is in stock right now and can reserve it for pickup. A sale at the till reduces online stock immediately, so you don't sell what you no longer have.
An app pays off when you have repeat customers: a loyalty card on the phone, push notifications about offers and one-tap reorders. We build apps in Flutter, so iOS and Android share one codebase and use the same catalog and rewards as the website.
Yes. We keep URL structures or set up 301 redirects, migrate metadata, content and reviews, and monitor indexing after launch. The migration is planned so sales don't stop and organic traffic is protected.

Shoppers expect to see real stock at their nearest store, earn rewards both online and at the till, and pick up an app order the same day. We build retail ecommerce where the website, app, warehouses, POS and marketplaces all share the same data. It builds on our online store development work, extended with the problems that only multi-location retailers face.
The biggest headache for chains is fragmented data. The website says an item is available, but it sold in-store an hour ago; points earned at the till don't show up in the customer account. We build a single data layer: stock per location, shared prices and promotions, one customer profile. That unlocks the journeys shoppers already expect: buy online, pick up in store (BOPIS), reserve an item, or ship from a warehouse when the local store is out of a size.
Data exchange with your back office runs through APIs or message queues, so the site stays fast even while a large catalog syncs. We connect SAP, Odoo, Xero, Salesforce and other systems via CRM and ERP integration, and handle picking and transfers between locations with warehouse automation.
Retail catalogs run to thousands of SKUs with sizes, colors and bundles. We set up fast Elasticsearch search with typo tolerance and suggestions, filters that never leave shoppers with an empty page, and product pages with clear delivery dates and availability. Content can be imported from a PIM or spreadsheets, and merchandisers update prices and campaigns in bulk without a developer.
One catalog feeds Google Merchant, Meta Commerce, Amazon, eBay and Allegro, and marketplace orders land in the same order workflow. Checkout supports Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Adyen, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus local payment methods for each market. Shipping options include DHL, UPS, InPost and regional carriers with rates calculated in the cart. If you need competitor price monitoring or supplier data collection, we add web scraping.
The loyalty program works the same on the website, in the app and at the POS: points, tiers, personal promo codes and segments for campaigns via Klaviyo, Mailchimp, WhatsApp Business or Telegram. A Flutter mobile app puts the loyalty card in the shopper's pocket, adds push notifications and two-tap reorders, and gives you a direct sales channel with no marketplace fees.
Black Friday, seasonal sales and big ad campaigns bring sharp traffic spikes. We design for them with caching, queues and auto-scaling on AWS, so the catalog and checkout stay fast under load and back-office sync never blocks orders. Card data is handled by certified payment providers, and customer data is stored in line with GDPR requirements.
After launch we keep the store running with website support and maintenance: updates, monitoring, backups and new features as your business grows. A new store, warehouse or sales channel plugs into the system without a rebuild, because the architecture is designed for multiple locations from day one.
Launch is the start, not the finish. We analyze the funnel, find where shoppers drop off and run A/B tests as part of conversion rate optimization. We track page speed and Core Web Vitals and set up analytics by channel and store.
Already on Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento? We audit the store, recommend what to extend and what to rebuild, and migrate data without losing search rankings. Timelines depend on the number of integrations and locations; we estimate after a short brief.
