Creation of a service for car rental with delivery Ucars

Task

Ukraine cars (Ucars) – car rental service with delivery of the selected car from the fleet to the designated place
place and time. Our team was tasked with developing a modern platform for
of this service.

Since this is a fairly competitive niche, it was necessary to create a resource that would stand out against the background of other rental services and with the highest quality usability indicators.

Solution

After studying competitors, it was concluded that most sites have a template implementation and
do not differ significantly from each other. To create a resource that meets business requirements
project, implemented the following stages:

1. We have developed a unique UX/UI solution.
2. We created a convenient catalog with filters.
3. We worked through the car card with key information.
4. We created a high-conversion checkout page with a car rental calculator.

Home page

On the main page of the site, a person has the opportunity to enter the city in which it is necessary to rent a car (at the time of working with the project, the service is presented in Kyiv and Dnepr), select the desired start and end date of the rental. After that, when you click the “Find your car” button, he opens an available list of cars that meet these criteria.

Also on the main page there are main categories by car class: “Comfort”, “Business”,
“Premium”, “Electro”, “Crossovers”. In the first place, favorable rental offers are displayed,
currently available.

After the categories there is a block with visual infographics about the principles of the service. Added section with
useful articles for promotion using content. Sufficient attention is paid to adaptability
site. The mobile version is just as easy to use as the desktop version.

Catalogue

Catalogs and filters are one of the main components of the car rental service interface,
influencing conversion. It is from the convenience and speed of finding the required user option
the likelihood of renting to them depends.

In the Ucars catalog, we have added a filter with all the important parameters that a person relies on when
choosing a rental car: type of gearbox and fuel used, capacity, etc. You can choose
desired price range.

After filling in all significant parameters in the filter (you can leave it blank if the criterion is not important),
a catalog of available machines is displayed. For each model, a photo, characteristics and estimated
table with rental costs depending on the period.

Page with car

For each available car from the fleet there is a separate page with detailed information.
Additionally, similar offers, rental conditions, and service advantages are displayed with visual
icons to improve perception.

On each machine page there is a “Rent” button, which redirects the user to the ordering page. In the mobile version, data and interface elements are displayed the same
structured and clear.

Ordering

We have worked on the ordering page, which includes all the necessary fields to fill out and information.
Visually, the page is divided into two main zones:

on the left, the user enters his data, city and rental time, as well as optional features;
on the right is a photo of the car, a list of services provided as part of the rental, cost,
possibility to pay online and upon delivery of the car.

A cost calculator has been added to the ordering page, displaying the cost to the client
depending on the specified rental period, insurance and additional wishes.

Blog

A blog is a useful part of a website that allows you to inform users about new
services and promote the site in search engines using keywords. This is also an image moment
necessary to position the company as an expert.

Therefore, a visually neat and structurally convenient news section was added to the Ucars website. Here it is convenient for the company to share news about the addition of new cars to the fleet and publish useful articles for the target audience.
